Canvases are probably my most FAVORITE way to display portraits. We already have two from our wedding and intend to order more from our maternity session and once baby girl Tuck arrives. My goal is to have a full-on collage wall displayed in our home. : ) Because I didn't run an album special over the winter like I normally do, I've decided to offer my fine art canvases in select sizes at a reduced price until the end of March! Each canvas is hand-stretched on a custom-built frame, printed with ink rated to last 100 years and then spray-sealed with a UV protective coating. You can order one that is 1.5" deep or 0.75" deep (examples below).

The details (pretty similar to the one I ran in fall 2012 but an even better price):

ALBUMS: New Leather Albums by KISS

Since I started my business, I offered the Sequoia by WillowBook as my 10×10″ leather album; however, it's time for a change, and I’m happy to announce that I am now offering 10×10″ leather albums by KISS! My 4x4" mini albums are from KISS, and I've just fallen in love with the company. I love the preciseness and quality of the printing, and the beautiful, modern colors. Here is my new studio sample (color is blossom) and some sample layouts from Heidi + Eric's wedding in 2012. The other colors available (on the ring, front to back) are: midnight, midtown, picket fence, something blue, sunflower, tiffany, twig, amalfi coast, aquamarine, baby elephant, black tie, blossom, brazil nut, canvas, chocolate, latte & lipstick. ALBUMS: Cypress Fine Handmade Albums

It's an early birthday over here for Melissa Tuck Photography -- the new album sample has arrived! I am so ecstatic to finally share with you my newest offering from Cypress Albums. Before I get to the goods, a little thoughts from me: I think getting a wedding album is SO important. I know digital negatives are all the rage these days (and yes, they're important too!), but by purchasing an album, you have a way of displaying your wedding photos. I can honestly say that I haven't looked at our DVD of photos more than once since our wedding (and that doesn't take away what a fabulous job The Schultzes did!), but my point is this: We purchased two canvas prints from our wedding, which are currently hanging on our living room wall, and we look at those EVERY SINGLE DAY and are reminded of how wonderful our day was. An album is yet another elegant way to show off the magic of your special day. Off my soapbox and onto these GORGEOUS albums! : )

I chose a neutral platinum for the album cover and a gray presentation box with ivory ribbon. I also added a cover photo.

The photo prints are permanently matted onto the page. I use high quality Kodak Professional Lustre paper with a lustre coating, which is an environmentally safe, water based coating that provides additional protection to your prints and adds a slightly more matte appearance for a fine art look.

The 10x10" album is custom-designed and layout-oriented. The photo prints are flush-mounted to heavy-weight six-ply (non-bendable) pages. Each album can hold up to 25 pages (50 sides).

The gorgeous fabrics are Japanese bookbinding fabric and silk ribbon. There are multiple colors from which to choose.
