MARGOT: NEWBORN

I got to meet and photograph this scrumptious little sweetheart at eight days old. Margot (LOVE her name!) was born early -- just THREE days after I took her parent's maternity photos! Crazy timing, I'm telling ya. She was perfectly sleepy during the session -- a dream to photograph. I am so incredibly happy for her awesome parents! Enjoy some of my favorites of this precious little lady. : )

I am in LOVE with her little nose. And I have to give major props to Matt, Margot's dad, for helping me hold the blanket during these solo shots. Sometimes the space in city apartments can be tricky but with willing parents...!

Margot's grandmother (Kat's mom) was in town helping them out after her birth, so we grabbed some shots!

Matt's mom sent these sweaters all the way from Ireland. It'll take a bit for Margot to grow into her's, but I loved that they wanted to get some shots in them!

HARRISON: NEWBORN

Today I get to share a special newborn with you! Harrison was born fast and furiously five weeks early and weighed a whopping 5 lbs, 9 0z. His lovely parents asked me to photograph him at 13 days new. I am SO happy for Bernadette and Casey and can't wait for Harrison and Brooklyn to have many playdates! : ) Here are some of my favorites of this handsome little guy!

I love this next shot; every time I look at it, I think he's saying, "I HAVE A QUESTION!"

ROGER: BABY

Thanks to a friend of mine, I got connected to a new family in the DC area and they are just lovely. Meet Roger, just shy of seven months, and big bro Henry, who is 3 1/2 years old. Their mom, Aryn, inquired about a mini-session of the two of them, but primarily Roger, because let's be real y'all... it's hard to keep up with professional photos of your second child! (I can relate because we have three dogs, and I barely have any of our third. Shame on me!) We did the session in their home and I love how they turned out. I also love that Aryn requested special shots of Roger's pudgy arms and legs because he'll be growing out of his baby fat soon. I was happy to oblige. : )

A few shots of his nursery. Roger was named after Aryn's dad, who is British, AND he was born within a week of Prince George!
