I've been photographing like a crazy lady lately (and will be traveling all this weekend for shoots!), which is why I've neglected the blog recently. Here's a small preview of what's coming up on the blog next week! Darcy + Daniel's Atlanta, Georgia engagement session:

Mary + Scott's Edenton, North Carolina wedding:

Chris + Laura's Lawrenceville, Georgia engagement session:

Claire and Blake are two friends of mine, and I met up with them in North Carolina for their e-shoot.. and what an adventurous e-shoot it was. : ) We started the session in a downtown area and right when we got rolling, it decided to POUR, so we hopped into a random soda shop for a few minutes hoping it would let up soon. About 20 minutes later, we continued to duck under awnings, front porches, etc. We decided to go ahead and head north to the lake for the second portion of the shoot, and we were greeted with some really nice light. The couple's adorrrable pup Penny joined us for some shots toward the end. C+B, I had a fun time with y'all (thanks for being so willing in the rain!), and I'm really looking forward to shooting your wedding next spring!

Always good to carry a golf umbrella in your car. Thanks, Dad. ; )

I met up with Lauren and Sam for a gorgeous early morning shoot at the farmhouse where they will be married this October. I'm not available on their wedding date this year, but I'm honored they still wanted me to do their engagement photos. We had fun on the beautiful property before it got too blistering hot outside. : ) Congratulations you two and best wishes!

I couldn't resist a couple shots of the adorable pups:

I've known Katie since our preschool days and she's always been the light of a room. Her personality is just so electric -- you meet her and you instantly feel like you've been friends for a long time. I met Matt the day of the shoot, and I felt the same way about him so this pair is perfect for each other! Katie and Matt's ease with each other throughout the afternoon was a breath of fresh air. And they were a dream to work with -- all I had to do was pull out their inner-models. ; ) We started out the shoot in downtown Belmont and then finished up at Katie's parent's beautiful lake-front home. We also incorporated Katie's dad's Corvette, which was a fun prop. Enjoy this tender couple!

I had such a fun time with Bess and Stephen. They braved a cold morning with me (on Super Bowl Sunday at that -- props to Stephen!) to do their engagement session here in Athens. They both went to UGA so we walked around north campus and then headed over to the Prince Ave. area. I'm super bummed that I'm not available to shoot their wedding, but I'm glad we crossed paths long enough for me to capture their sweet relationship. They also brought along their two golden retrievers (11 years and four months!) for a few photos, which was awesome because I'm such a dog-lover. Congratulations again you two! On to the photos...

Red is on the left and Doc is on the right (love their names!)...

They were quite well-behaved when I took their owners away for a bit. How adorable is this?

Bess wears her grandmother's antique ring. LOVE it.
