NICOLE + MATTHEW - Corolla Beach Wedding

Nicole & Matthew were married on the first day of October (10.01!) on the oceanfront of Corolla Beach, which was followed by a ROCKIN' reception at The Currituck Club. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding. : )

Bride's dress: Casablanca Bridal Bridesmaids dresses: Jenny Yoo Groom and groomsmen attire: JoS. A. Bank Makeup: Aimee Crepeau Florals: Renee Landry Cake: Kelly Lamb Ceremony music: Roy Murray Videographer: MediaBrewer Films Caterer: Currituck Club Rentals: Ocean Atlantic Rentals

I got to know Nicole while we studied abroad in Australia together during college. She's SO full of energy and spirit, and she found her match in Matthew. These two met each other working at The Currituck Club one summer, and they watched their first sunset together on the beach where they got married. So sweet and personal! I felt really privileged to be the one to document this wedding, and I wish the newlyweds all the BEST!

Father/daughter share a moment...

STUN.NING.

Such cool groomsmen gifts!

And yes, there was a pilsner glass inside with Matthew and the couple's wedding date on it. HILARIOUS. He acts it out for me:

So handsome!

EPIC clouds.

This bridesmaid's baby bump was SO adorbs.

In case you didn't see my animation posted yesterday (also later in this post), Matthew and his buds are big fans of Double Dutch. : )

Love.

Aren't they a knockout pair?

Adored all the poms!

The cupcakes and cake were awesome!

I die over the cuteness of this little girl.

Not only did Double Dutch make an appearance... volleyball did as well. : )

I love my friend Blake's expression in the background of this photo...

Take a close look at this shot... it's hysterical. From left to right, we've got: shoving dudes, casual drinker dude, a dude who looks like he's going to ring the garter on the neck of his beer bottle, almost-committed dude, dude who is ready to swat it away and then three dudes who actually look like they won't mind catching it. : ) Funny note: the garter landed on the floor.

CATWALK.

NICOLE + MATTHEW - Double Dutch

Amazing? YES. Y'all know I can't resist posting a good animation. I think this one tops 'em all.

You know it's an awesome wedding when the bride and groom break out into a Double Dutch performance during the reception. : ) LOVE them. Nicole & Matthew's wedding is coming up on the blog soon!

LAURA + MATTHEW - Carlos Hellenic Center Wedding

Just look at that love! When I met Laura & Matt, I could tell their wedding was going to be an emotional day. They are so personable and so thankful for everything that has come their way. They were married at the beginning of November at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Atlanta, Georgia and their reception was held at the Thalia N. Carlos Center. It was a lovely, albeit chilly, day; Laura & Matt and the wedding party were all super troopers. : ) I had a great time documenting it all. Congratulations you two!

Also, since I always get tons of inquiries about other vendors, I'm going to start including some additional information for each wedding on the blog as a resource for others:

Bridal gown - Casablanca Bridesmaids - Belsoie by Jasmine Bridal Groom & groomsmen - Men's Wearhouse Makeup & hair - Siggers Hairdressers Florals - Firefly Studios Wedding cake - Special Touch Cakes, Susie Glover; Groom's cake - Sweet N' Sinful Music - D.J. Bobby T Caterer - Proof of the Pudding

And thanks so much to Jenny Tenney for coming down from North Carolina to shoot! You can see her beautiful photos on her blog. I grabbed this quick frame of the guys before heading over to hang with the girls...

Meet Maddux - the couple's CUTE pup. You'll see him later in the post... : )

Since Laura's grandmother could not attend, she pinned one of her beautiful vintage brooches on her bouquet. So pretty!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... There's nothing more special than a grinning groom at the end of the aisle!

The flower girl (Laura's sister's daughter) was super excited for the couple! : )

STUN.NING.

Another one of my favorites from the day:

Insert Maddux - the groom's cake! Absolutely love it.

Insert kids ready to demolish Maddux. Don't you love how kids are always the most attentive during the cake cutting? I do. : )

The children at this wedding were SO precious...

Teach me how to Dougie...!

Laura was super excited that this friend caught the bouquet. ; )
