Moon to tha HONEY! (aka our honeymoon)

I've been on the road the past couple of weekends for shoots, which means I've been away from my hubby (and pups!) a lot. I absolutely love to travel for my job, but I also miss my family like whoa. SO... I've taken some extra time on the road to edit some of our honeymoon photos. : ) On our trip, we visited Italy & Greece. I loved reminiscing about the canals in Venice, the ruins in Athens and the black sand beaches and breathtaking sunsets in Santorini. Oh, and the food. The lots and lots of food. : ) Enjoy a peek into our paradise! Hubs, I don't know about you... but this sure does make me want to do a one-year anniversary trip. ; )

First up, Venice!

Our first two plates of MANY... Yum.

Sharing a Coca Light.

Next, a couple from Corfu, Greece (we did a lot of pool-side sitting here):

Athens, Greece:

Goofball. Gotta love him.

Thinking WOman's pose.

Obligatory plane shot coming into Santorini, Greece... : )

Black sand beaches. Only downfall: very sensitive on the feet! : )

INCREDIBLE sunset in Santorini.

OUR WEDDING!

The hubs and I were SO psyched to see some preview images on our wedding photographer's blog yesterday. We think Cheyenne & Geoff did an AMAZING job, and we can't wait to see the whole shebang! Here a a few teasers... please go to The Schultzes blog to see the rest! : ) ***Update: click here to see a few photobooth pics. HYSTERICAL.***

MELISSA + JONATHAN - Vesuvius Vineyards Wedding

Say hello to a very special couple!

Melissa + Jonathan got married on the oh-so-popular wedding date of 10.10.2010. But what makes this date so special to them? These two have been dating for 10 years (and I knew them way back when!), so they only thought it appropriate to wed on such a memorable date. One request you guys: please don't ever forget your anniversary. ; )

The couple was married at First United Methodist in downtown Gastonia, North Carolina, and the reception followed at the gorgeous Vesuvius Vineyards in Iron Station. The weather was PERFECT. And as my second photographer, Courtney Potter, put it so well: The light was SICK. You can see Courtney's time with the guys and brilliant work on her blog.

Congratulations Melissa & Jonathan! I had SUCH a wonderful time documenting your day. : )

I was allowed extremely limited access during the ceremony, but I got these two frames during the processional & recessional. Such a happy groom!

The trolley ride to the vineyards was so fun!

Due to complication with her pregnancy, Melissa's matron of honor couldn't be there. Ever heard of the Flat Stanley Project? They made a replica in honor of Noelle. Love it.

Let the magic light begin...

The couple who won the anniversary dance has been married 61 years. Amazing!

The band - Summer Daze - was totally rocking it out all night.
