Photobooth = FUN!

I can now speak from personal experience when I say that some of our favorite photos from our wedding came from the photobooth. It's an ideal setup: you get memorable, laugh-out-loud photos while allowing your wedding photographer more creative freedom during the reception to capture all those details you spent so much time planning. It's a win-win situation AND it is super fun for the guests! Over the weekend, I asked the hubby to model for my new photobooth setup. We came out with some giggle-worthy photos... and included the pups, of course. Also, I'd like to give a shout out to my mom for buying the hats you see below for me. I'm sure they'll come in handy for some kiddo shoots in the future. : )

Couples, if you're interested in adding a photobooth to your wedding package, shoot me a note! It doesn't disappoint.

Bella HATED the hats, but she was a good sport. Ha!

Self timer yeeaaah!

Oh hiiiiiii there, Interwebz. Remember me? I'm the one who blogs. It's been awhile, so I thought I'd share some photos today. : ) In all seriousness, lovely blog readers, I have been trying to take some more personal time during the "off-season" wedding months... operative word: trying. ; ) It's very difficult for me to leave my computer/work alone (it's a love-hate bond). I'm always trying to find ways to improve my photography and my business. But, even I admit, you need a little down time to stay energized throughout the year. One example that Ryan and I have taken advantage of is vegan food school at Gymnopedie, which was a super thoughtful wedding gift given to us by one of our friends, Kate Lord. A post to come about our adventure at food school later this month!

For now, I'd like to share some delightful photo booth pictures from my dear friend Mary's "Something Blue" bridal shower at the end of December. Thanks SO much to Jenny Tenney for coming and operating the whole shebang! We really appreciated your time and energy. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we had a ball! (FYI if you're interested: I made the photo booth backdrop from this DIY tutorial. Yay Pinterest!)

I leave you with some hilarious/adorable photos and the promise that I WILL go to a yoga class over the next week. ; )

I LOVE the one below. Makes me crack up every time.

Yay Jenny!
