Last week, I partnered with the Rabbit's Nest of Rome to offer spring mini-sessions in their beautiful store. I was floored with the overwhelming turnout! ANNA + BLAIR EXPECTING!
Photographing this session made my heart so full. I've known Anna for a good part of my life. She's my brother's friend (same age) and used to drive me to dance class when I wasn't old enough to drive myself. During those rides, I remember the countless chats and advice she gave me about boys (thanks Anna). ; ) And now, she's having a baby with her sweet hubby, Blair. I couldn't be more excited for these two! They have dealt with some struggles (to put it mildly -- no couple ever expects to!) in the past, so I know they are even more thankful and gracious than most parents to welcome their first baby girl, Emma Kate, in April. And I certainly can't wait to meet her myself! Anna & Blair, thank you for a lovely afternoon in your home city of Charleston. Y'all were absolute naturals in front of my camera, and it was a true delight! : )
As much as I loved shooting in downtown Charleston, I ADORED our part on Sullivan's Island. The sunset that night was incredible!
