Emily + Carlos Wedding - Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer
Covering this wedding was a dream. I filled in for a friend, Emily Ballard, who thankfully trusted me to step in last-minute (thanks, Em). So, I didn't know Emily and Carlos until the day of their party. See, they are getting married next spring in Spain (where they live) but wanted to throw a reception/fiesta for their friends and family in the US.
This felt like a micro/backyard wedding, and I low-key LOVED IT. We did some family photos at Emily's sister's house (where we got SUPER cute moments of Emily and her nephews!!!) and then went to downtown Raleigh for some shots of the couple. I love the architecture/vibe of the neighborhood they chose -- very urban/modern and cool murals. We also stopped by Boylan Bridge, which is dreamy at sunset.
The reception dinner/dance party at Vidrio was so beautiful. I fell in love with the decor at this Mediterranean restaurant... the old-school tile, the wall of glass bowls. Loved the whole vibe!! Okay, I'll stop rambling and let you scroll for the goodness.
