Confession: the day of Jean and Emily's engagement session, I wasn't in the best mood. I was driving over to their session at NCMA in Raleigh, and I was psyching myself up, because I just wasn't feeling it that evening (and everyone who knows me KNOWS that I alwaysssss look forward to shoots). It didn't have anything to do with Jean and Emily -- I was excited to meet them! I just wasn't feeling creative or super social after the day that I'd had.
Enter: Jean and Emily. Turns out they were JUST what I needed that evening. They were SO kind and SO chill. And they are exactly the kind of couple that I LOVE to photograph: cuddly, affectionate and playful with each other. They trusted me with locations and light and were up for anything. I came away from the session feeling so refreshed and energized. So Jean and Emily, thank you. For sharing your love with me. I can't wait to photograph your wedding next month!
