A GIVEAWAY! - Raleigh, NC Family Photographer

My kids LOVE the ice cream at Howling Cow Creamery. It's such a neat spot! We like to go as a family a couple of times each summer as an after-dinner treat. This time, I took my "real"/non-iPhone camera, and when I started editing the photos, it brought me to tears. Even as a professional photographer, I get stressed out about my kids "behaving for THE SHOT." I realized while taking and editing these photos that I want to remember ALL the things... the curiosity of the kids watching the cows, the unscripted handstands, the giggles between siblings, the drippy fingers, the flavors they prefer, and yes, even the pouting while waiting on the ice cream. :) These moments truly reflect my kids' personalities.

I'm not saying that I can't get that with a more traditional session, but I'm saying that most of the time, doing something your kids absolutely love will prompt really amazing memories in photos. I want to capture these memories for other families!!! And I didn't want hesitation about it being a nontraditional session to dissuade people from wanting to do it.
