Meet the family that won my giveaway! I hosted an ice cream mini giveaway, because I love the idea of capturing kids in their element, especially when they're young. Of course, I'm also going to photograph them cheesing at the camera, but I find the best moments are the ones when they aren't preoccupied with me being there. To do that, ya gotta get 'em moving... At the park, in the backyard blowing bubbles or jumping on a trampoline, at the pool, playing board games, baking, you name it! I love incorporating a fun activity during family photos. It really helps the kids' personalities shine. Enter the Miller family...
I met up with them on Friday evening at Howling Cow Creamery. They were ready to go with their GIANT WAFFLE CONES! I just love how the photos turned out. You can't really go wrong when ice cream is involved with a nine-, eight- and six-year old. We had a lot of fun! I love how goofy the dad was with the kids....headlocks, sniffing arm pits, leap frog.
