You can’t travel with just any family. You know, when you have young kids, it’s a bit difficult. Lots of anxiety around daily schedules and personality clashes. But lemme tell ya: THIS family is easy to love. The kids got along SO well and so did the adults. ; )

Last December, we met our friends in Florida for a week’s stay on Anna Maria Island. We absolutely LOVE this crew. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful island by taking group bike rides together. And we also took bike rides to get ice cream and doughnuts. : ) The house we stayed in was OFF THE CHARTS beautiful, and the amenities kept the kiddos entertained for hours.

On one of our last days, I snapped a few portraits of our friends at the beach close to sunset. I love how they turned out! Miss you guys. Where and when are we going next? : )

My childhood BFF moved back to North Carolina with her family a couple years ago. She is the funnest, smartest, sweetest, most loyal friend. Even though hectic family and work schedules dictate our inability to see each other as much as we’d like, we always have a blast when we do get together. I met up with Sarah and her boys at the NCMA art park last spring for a quick session. I always love photographing their gorgeous smiles and big hearts.

I’m continuing to play catch up from 2019 and all of these photos put the biggest smile on my face! This is another family that is near and dear to my heart. I shot Bernadette and Casey’s wedding when we lived in Maryland (so many years ago!). I met B while studying abroad in Australia, and our friendship has survived (and thrived!) even though many states are now between us. And these kiddos (along with the ones from my previous post of the Bayless fam) are my little buddies. I love hanging with them. You’ll see (at the end) that we got some cousin shots, which are my favorites. : )
