LISA + ED - Seabrook Island Resort Wedding

*** Before I blog this awesome wedding, I have a quick side note: I will be marrying the love of my life next weekend, so I'll be under the radar for the next couple of weeks finishing all the last-minute details for my own wedding. Thank you in advance for your patience! : ) *** Lisa & Ed's wedding day was a blast... despite the rain. Yes, yes... the weather fairies were not on our side that day. About 30 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, a honking set of black clouds and 50 mph winds (not accurate, haha, just what it felt like to me!) rolled in. Sadly, they had to move their oceanfront ceremony inside at the last minute. However disappointing the weather, they were equally as happy and excited to get married. Love how it all worked out. : ) We were able to sneak in a few portraits before and after those threatening clouds. Here is one of my favorites from after the ceremony:

Bridal gown and bridesmaid attire - purchased at David's Bridal Groom and groomsmen attire - purchased at The Tuxedo Shoppe Makeup - EQmakeup Hair - Twist Salon Florals - JW Weddings & Events Cake - Elaine's Events Ceremony music - Williams Duo Reception band - Men of Distinction Caterer/rentals/venue - Seabrook Island Resort Planner - Kathleen Rogers of Seabrook Island Resort

Lisa and Ed, your wedding was so much fun (especially the reception with all the crazy dancers)! Speaking of, be sure to check out the surprise video clip at the end. ; ) Congratulations you two!!!

Proud mom. : )

The ring bearer was walking against the crazy wind in this photo -- so funny.

Guests waiting patiently in the lobby after the plan was altered a bit...

The Men of Distinction were AWESOME! Such high energy!

The band had the ladies line up for a conga line...

...then it was the guy's turn (to show off their legs!)...

...and then this guest rocked out a split?!?!

Loved this cover of Prince's "Kiss"... and so did the guests. : )

I got a FEVAH and the only prescription is MORE COWBELL! : )

Aaaand I couldn't help but post a clip of Ed's brother and friends dancing to "99 Red Balloons" at the reception. They had everyone cracking up:
