Featured: Real Simple -- Kristin + Reed's Wedding

I love the magazine Real Simple. It's chock full of good stuff about recipes, home decorating, exercise tips... but it also includes things about weddings. SO, I was ecstatic to find out (through a fellow colleague Lauren Cowart - love her) that one of my images was published in their "27 must-take wedding photo ideas" gallery. I love this image -- all the ladies are so happy and beautiful and the dresses are so bright and lovely. Go see the full gallery HERE.

Happy Tuesday, y'all! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. : )

While I was in Australia, I got an exciting email letting me know that Kristin & Reed's gorgeous wedding was featured on Glamour & Grace. Check out the full feature HERE to read more about Kristin & Reed's day. What an honor! Megan, thank you SO much for featuring this wedding and for your lovely blog!

KRISTIN + REED - Revolution Mill Studios Wedding

Remember Kristin's bridal session? I couldn't take a bad photo of her then, and it was impossible to take a bad photo of her and Reed a few weeks ago on their wedding day. This is one gorgeous couple -- inside and out! And that's why this post is super long. : ) Go refill your coffee and enjoy the lovely wedding day of Kristin & Reed in Greensboro, North Carolina. Congratulations to the happy couple and warmest wishes! [AND a special thanks to Lauren Cowart Photography for assisting me that day!]

Dad sees daughter for the first time...

I realize this is super grainy, but the church closed the sanctuary doors on me and I still liked the moment... : )

This trolley ride looked like a Coors Light commercial! haha...

Their precious pup Gaddy met us for a few shots...

Kristin's dad had everyone cracking up during his toast (and this is her nephew)...

I have no idea why they made these faces but it was hilarious!

KRISTIN BRIDAL: UNVEILED!

Kristin is drop.dead.gorgeous. She got married last Saturday (such a fun wedding -- post to come in the future!), so I'm finally able to share her bridal session photos from last April. We did Kristin's shoot in and around beautiful Hillsdale Farm in Greensboro, North Carolina. G'boro photogs, hit this place up - it's a dream (thanks to photo friend Anna Routh for the find and to Katie for being so flexible)! I DIE over this whole shoot. Kristin was so great in front of the camera and I LOVED her romantic, sophisticated dress. I'm starting with a couple of my outside favorites towards the end of the shoot. Uhm, can anyone say model?

Rewind to back inside. Kristin chose this as the portrait to display at their reception:

KRISTIN: BRIDAL

Now that the days are getting warmer and the light stays with us longer, I am one busy lady! : ) I've been editing like a mad woman, and I'll be sharing more sessions soon. In the in-between time, here's a teaser from a recent bridal shoot at Hillsdale Farm in Greensboro, North Carolina. Kristin was absolutely STUN.NING., and I will share plenty more after she gets married next month. I hope everyone has a rockin' weekend!
