LAUREN + STEVE ENGAGED!

Because baby Tuck is on the way (and therefore my limited bookings next year), I didn't have many opportunities this fall to shoot engagement sessions, which makes me a little sad because it's my favorite season to shoot engagements! Enter: Lauren and Steve. : ) We met up at Berry College for their session and goodness gracious! Fall must've known my camera was missing it dearly. : ) This day was particularly gorgeous -- clear, crisp air, colorful leaves and a gorgeous sun to boot. Throw in a cuddly couple (and their pups!), and I'm living my dream. Here are some of my favorites, y'all!

MARY MARGARET + ANDREW - Proctor Farm Wedding

This wedding makes my heart LEAP with joy! Just like Mary Margaret's face here after she and Andrew were married. : )

Mary Margaret and Andrew became husband and wife at the beautiful Proctor Farm in Rome, Georgia in September. Even though it was a dreary day (weather-wise), everybody had HUGE smiles on their faces. Nothing could keep this crowd down. You couldn't help but be in a fantastic mood -- it was contagious. When I showed up for coverage, the guys were even playing touch football in the pouring rain! And, as you'll see in the photos, the wedding party had some good humor to them. Some of the portraits still have me cracking up!

I loved all of the aesthetics of this wedding: neutral colors and a rustic glam feel in a natural setting. I also LOVED the eclectic look of the bridesmaids' dresses -- so unique. And Mary Margaret's dress was STUNNING on her. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Photographing Mary Margaret and Andrew's wedding day was an absolute pleasure and joy for me. These two share a special bond, and I was touched to witness their sweet intimacy throughout the day. Their love for each other is so tender and pure. And I just LOVED photographing Mary Margaret's knockout smile! It seems to emanate deep from within her soul. She just makes everyone around her feel special.

JOEY: BABY

This family holds a really special place in my heart. The hubs and I got to know them through a friend when we lived in Athens, and I'm SO happy & thankful she introduced us (thanks, Clare!). I was jump-out-of-my-seat excited when Allie & Ryan contacted me to take photos of little Joey man. He is SO handsome. I know that these parents appreciate their kiddo more than anything -- I'm so proud of them! It makes me tear up to think about how wonderful they are as parents! I loved photographing Joey. Eat up his cuteness, y'all. Those cheeks... those LIPS!

CAROLINE + ROBERT ENGAGED!

Caroline & Robert are getting married in New Orleans next spring, but Atlanta is a very special place to them -- it's where they got engaged! I met up with them last month to do engagement photos in Centennial Park (near where Robert proposed) and Reynoldstown, a hip neighborhood right outside of downtown Atlanta. They were fun to photograph, and I loved Caroline's sassy heels! Enjoy some of my favorites from their shoot. : )

They are both huge LSU fans, but Caroline went to grad school at UGA, so she has some allegiance to the Dawgs. : )
