Featured: Soirees Southern Events - Tracy + Clark's Wedding

Tracy - one of my summer 2011 brides - alerted me recently that her gorgeous Lake Toxaway wedding was featured in Soirées Southern Events! Brides, if you are getting married in North Georgia, Western North Carolina or parts of South Carolina, I encourage you to pick up this great little vendor guide. Or you can see the spring preview issue digitally here. Check out Tracy + Clark's feature! And thanks again to the talented Courtney Potter for helping me shoot that day - your companionship and enthusiasm for photography is always delightful. : )

KATIE + MICHAEL - Frogtown Cellars Wedding

Katie and Michael were married on a strikingly beautiful day at Frogtown Cellars in Dahlonega, Georgia. It had been awhile since I'd been to a vineyard to shoot a wedding, and I was in HEAVEN! This place was gorgeous, and the weather was nothing short of ideal that day (sunny skies, high in the mid-70s - what?!).

Bride’s dress and bridesmaids' dresses: Ann Taylor Groom and groomsmen attire: Savvi Formalwear Makeup: Katie, the bride Hair: J. Thomas Salon Florals: Flowers From Us Cakes: Alon's Bakery Ceremony music: Sohale Vu, friend Reception music: Luckyface; Kenn Firman, groom's uncle, played the drums Caterer: Frogtown Cellars Planner: Katie, the bride

It is evident by the way Katie & Michael look at each other that they are very much in love. I had a great time photographing them and their wedding day! Congrats to the happy couple!

Katie's got stunning blue eyes.

The view from where the ceremony was held was amazing!

Checking out her bling. Love it!

The favor tree was so adorable!

Everyone stopped on the way in to look at this antique wedding album that was from Michael's family.

I was a little obsessed with the florals... : )

The band was ROCKIN'!

You know it's a good dance party when the shoes come off!

LAURA + MATTHEW - Carlos Hellenic Center Wedding

Just look at that love! When I met Laura & Matt, I could tell their wedding was going to be an emotional day. They are so personable and so thankful for everything that has come their way. They were married at the beginning of November at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Atlanta, Georgia and their reception was held at the Thalia N. Carlos Center. It was a lovely, albeit chilly, day; Laura & Matt and the wedding party were all super troopers. : ) I had a great time documenting it all. Congratulations you two!

Also, since I always get tons of inquiries about other vendors, I'm going to start including some additional information for each wedding on the blog as a resource for others:

Bridal gown - Casablanca Bridesmaids - Belsoie by Jasmine Bridal Groom & groomsmen - Men's Wearhouse Makeup & hair - Siggers Hairdressers Florals - Firefly Studios Wedding cake - Special Touch Cakes, Susie Glover; Groom's cake - Sweet N' Sinful Music - D.J. Bobby T Caterer - Proof of the Pudding

And thanks so much to Jenny Tenney for coming down from North Carolina to shoot! You can see her beautiful photos on her blog. I grabbed this quick frame of the guys before heading over to hang with the girls...

Meet Maddux - the couple's CUTE pup. You'll see him later in the post... : )

Since Laura's grandmother could not attend, she pinned one of her beautiful vintage brooches on her bouquet. So pretty!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... There's nothing more special than a grinning groom at the end of the aisle!

The flower girl (Laura's sister's daughter) was super excited for the couple! : )

STUN.NING.

Another one of my favorites from the day:

Insert Maddux - the groom's cake! Absolutely love it.

Insert kids ready to demolish Maddux. Don't you love how kids are always the most attentive during the cake cutting? I do. : )

The children at this wedding were SO precious...

Teach me how to Dougie...!

Laura was super excited that this friend caught the bouquet. ; )
