...AND THEN THERE WERE THREE!

As of spring next year, the dogs will no longer outnumber the humans in our growing family. That's right! That's not (entirely) a "food baby" you see. : ) Baby Tuck is 15 weeks old today, and we couldn't be happier to share our news with everyone! It's been a long, challenging year and a half, one that has changed us forever and made us stronger as individuals and a couple. No one ever tells you how hard this whole process is ... (at least before the delivery room and the changing station). As our OB told us in a moment of levity, it's amazing this process ever works! But, with the hard days behind us ever in our hearts and minds, we're so excited to only be looking forward ... to all the exciting things that this baby has in store for us. And as a final note: please let this serve as a pseudo-explanation for my recent reduction in blog activity. The first trimester wasn't so conducive to work productivity. : ) Can't wait to share more with y'all soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY!

Our youngest pup, Riley, turns one (in human years!) today. Because I booked THREE out-of-town weddings in July (woohoo travel!), my parents are currently keeping ALL of our dogs for three weeks (thanks, Mimi and Pappy!). I miss them so incredibly much! They are like my children. I hope these photos make you smile as widely as they do me. : ) This is Riley the day after we brought him home:

...and at about six months (I need to do a better job at taking photos of my personal life!):And because I'm a delinquent dog-parent who forgot to wish Sadie a happy birthday last month, here is a cute one of her (she turned THREE!) with sister Bella back in February 2012. Hehe one of my favorites. : )

WISHING YOU WELL

Between holiday travel and wrapping up a chaotic but fulfilling year, I've taken a little time for myself recently, which explains my silence here on the blog. I'm behind on a lot of things, but I plan to have my shoots from the tail end of 2012 up over the next couple of weeks. (Thank you so much to these clients for their gracious patience.) Until then, I hope everyone is having a joy-filled holiday season, and Happy Everything from The Tuck Family (including Bella, Riley & Sadie pups). : )

And a big thank you to N Harris Photography for snapping this photo of us!

BELLA IS FOUR!

It's hard to believe it's her fourth birthday. Seems like yesterday that the hubs surprised me with Bella in our New York apartment (see puppy pics HERE). Bella has gotten more stubborn (selective hearing for treats!), but she's also come to LOVE her sister (who she wasn't so sure about at the start). I love my pups. They bring me so much joy and give me so much love. Happy birthday, sweet Belle! (Please excuse the awful quality in most of the Droid cell phone pics.)

I didn't do a post for lil Sadie girl when she turned two last June (horrible! is this what non-first-born children feel like?!), so I included a funny one of her as well. Sadie can flyyyyy! : )
