KERRI + MATT - Jupiter, Florida Wedding - Part I of II

Kerri & Matt got married in Jupiter, Florida (a beautiful place!) in early July. I met this awesome couple through another couple that I photographed in the Bahamas last year (love y'all!). Kerri & Matt actually met in the Bahamas; they couldn't be sweeter and more perfect for each other. I was lucky they chose me to shoot their rehearsal dinner and wedding. SASHA + SINIŠA - Antler Hill Barn Rehearsal Dinner

One word: SINASHA! : ) This is the term everyone used to affectionately describe this happy couple during their rehearsal dinner. I got a nice giggle out of it. I traveled up to Asheville, North Carolina to photograph Sasha + Siniša's rehearsal dinner at Antler Hill Barn at the Biltmore Estate in early May. Despite the random cold, un-spring-like weather, it was a beautiful event. I particularly enjoyed all of the heartwarming toasts. Every family member/friend/guest who spoke about Sasha + Siniša had such lovely things to say -- about them individually and as a couple. It really was endearing. Enjoy a glimpse into their special night!

Siniša's family is Croatian, and I loved all of the Croatian touches -- the table setting names, the appetizer flags, the authentic desserts.

Everyone got a good laugh when Sasha's dad needed a music stand to hold his mile-long roast/toast. : )

Ahhh the wonders of technology. One of Sasha's bridesmaids couldn't be there due to pregnancy, so she pre-taped her toast and a fellow bridesmaid played it for her!

MEREDITH + CHARLES - Imperial Centre Wedding - Part I of II

I had a lovely time documenting Charles & Meredith's wedding weekend. They are good people! : ) Here are a few favorites of mine from their rehearsal dinner at the Benvenue Country Club in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. My favorite part of the evening was all the eloquent, touching, sometimes hilarious toasts. Stay tuned for their beautiful wedding to hit the blog soon!

I was told by the bartender that it was a special request to have Miller High Life at the party, so it's also made a special appearance on the blog. : )

I have to share what Meredith's mother said at the beginning of her speech. She held up the RSVP card to the wedding that Charles had filled out and it said: "You can count on me!" I love that.

Good morning! I've been a little silent here on the blog for myriad reasons -- mainly, staying busy shooting and traveling. However, our move put me back a week or so on edits as well. KATHERINE + CHRIS - Vines Mansion Wedding - Part I of II

I had SUCH a great week celebrating TWO graduations with family, but it's now time to get back to work. Wedding season is in full swing, and I've got a sweet rehearsal dinner for you today. Katherine & Chris rehearsed at FBC Monroe and then headed to Wayfarer Music Hall in Monroe, Georgia for their dinner. Stay tuned for their Vines Mansion wedding later this week!
